Maurice Padot

Maurice Padot, 80, of Murphy and Lake Worth, FL died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his Murphy residence. He was a native of Monroe County, MI. He had lived in Lake Worth, FL, but had been a seasonal resident of Cherokee County since 1970. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. Maurice was a retired plumber and was of the Catholic faith.

He was the son of the late Maurice and Cecelia Mentel Padot and the husband of the late Sallee Brightbill Padot, who died June 13, 2009.

Surviving are two daughters, Lori McCall and Robin Padot both of Greenacres City, FL;  a sister, Mary Lou Smith of Carleton, MI; and a grandson, Shawn McCall of Greenacres City, FL.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
