Logans Run Rescue Pet of the Week- Lady- Golden Brown Shepherd Mix

Lady (LRR #66-2011) is a pretty golden brown shepherd mix puppy, about 16 weeks old and 20 pounds.

She is the sister of Lucy (LRR #67-2011), a black and tan shepherd mix puppy, and entered LRR with Lucy

on 3/3/11 as strays from the Ranger area of Cherokee Co. She has been micro-chipped and will be fully

vetted. Lady is an adorable, friendly puppy in need of a great family. If you want to give this “pretty girl

a great “forever” home, please contact Lynne Wilson, our Adoption Coordinator at (828) 557-3461 (cell).

LRR operates the “All 4 the Paws” Thrift Store at 1120 W US Hwy 64, Murphy to fund medical expenses

for their intakes from SW NC and N GA. LRR operates the PEPOP program that takes in puppy litters

from a household and fixes their adult dogs. The LOCO , LOCOS, and SNAP programs provide low cost

and subsidized spay and neutering services for the public for companion animals. Subsidies are

provided by LRR and private foundation grants. Call the Thrift Store from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at (828) 837-

1360, Monday through Saturday, for information on our programs and please bring donations to the

Thrift Store.

Please check out our web site at http://www.logansrunrescue.com/. LRR takes in about 50 dogs a

month, adopting out a third of these locally and sending the others to no-kill rescues. We need local

fosters to socialize our dogs for 1 to 2 months while we work to place them. Please call our adoption

coordinator to volunteer!
