Sesquicentennial Opening Ceremony

The Clay County Historical and Arts Council has announced that the Opening Ceremony for Clay County’s 150th Anniversary will be Monday February 21st at 11 a.m. at the new Courthouse.

Everyone is invited to enjoy a special program with guest speakers and exhibits to honor our County’s heritage. Ongoing activities for 2011 will be announced with participation by local government, our schools and other organizations. Costumes from any decades are welcome and Sesquicentennial commemorative items will be for sale as fundraisers for promotion of later events.
