Reclining Right 11/4/2010
I wrote this column before the November 2, 2010 elections. Voter fraud in this election is a major concern of Republicans but the Obama Justice Department does not seem concerned. 99% of voter fraud allegations are against Democrats.
A video of New Black Panthers threatening white voters at a Philadelphia election site during the 2008 elections was indisputable evidence for a voter intimidation case won by the Justice Department. It was then dismissed by the Obama Justice Department. Black on white crime was not to be pursued according to a former employee.
Justice Department whistleblower J. Christian Adams testified before a Civil Rights Commission committee that a Deputy Attorney General refused to investigate allegations of illegal voting during the last presidential election.
A Heritage Foundation study provided proof that illegal aliens and immigrants with green cards are committing rampant voter fraud in the US. The US Census Bureau reported that 28.2% of Hispanic voters in the 2008 election were immigrants like my wife.
In North Carolina, many people are registered to vote when they get their drivers license. Only a utility bill with her name and address on it was required for my wife to get her license. Proof of citizenship was not required. My wife offered to show her naturalization papers when she registered but was told they are not allowed to ask her if she was legal or not.
The Obama Justice Department tied to stop the State of Georgia from requiring photo ID proof to vote. They said it was discriminatory.
Two counties in North Carolina have recently reported voters using electronic voting machines checked to vote straight Republican but found that the machine recorded voting straight Democrat. After doing this several times and getting the same result elections officials said the machines needed to be “recalibrated. “ The state Republican Party has filed a federal lawsuit to get assurances that the 35 counties using these machines have had the software corrected and that voters be told about the problems and to check their ballots. The companies selling the machines allegedly have close ties to the Democrat Party.
Since North Carolina has a Democrat governor, all county Board of Elections have a Democrat majority to rule on any election irregularities. Recently I learned when I voted that an “unaffiliated” poll worker was being used instead of the Republican poll workers that I had nominated and had approved by the Board of Elections.
In close elections like the Senatorial race between Republican Norm Coleman and Al Franken, recounts are expected. Although Coleman had won by about 300 votes, the recount mysteriously found enough Franken votes for him to win in the recount. Most alarming was that almost 300 absentee ballots were found after the polls were closed in one location that were ALL for Franken.
In Troy, NY the DA wants DNA samples of elections officials to see if they can be found on a bunch of fraudulent absentee ballots. Guess who is fighting this.
