Old Fashioned Revival at the Barn

Rev. Johnny Foster and Rev. Jonathan Foster, a father and son “tag team” will be hosting revival services at the McGuire Millrace Farm in Peachtree, on Hendrix Road, west of Murphy Medical Center, beginning at 7:00 PM each night September 19 through 24th.

Pastor Johnny was ordained in 1976. He graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute in 1979. Through the gifts of expository preaching and singing both Southern and Contemporary Gospel Music, God has allowed Johnny to lead in over seventy revivals, evangelistic meetings, and in short term missions and disaster relief. These include several churches throughout the South East and on foreign soils in Africa, Germany and the Philippines. Rev. Foster is currently serving as Senior Pastor of Truett Memorial First Baptist Church in Hayesville and says, “I have a burden for revival in Western North Carolina.”

Pastor Jonathan is a native of Hayesville and is currently senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in Maiden, North Carolina. He did his undergraduate studies at Gardner-Webb University is currently finishing his graduate work at Liberty University.  Jonathan is gifted as a musician, singer, and expositor of the gospel.  Pastor Jonathan has also traveled extensively doing mission work most recently in Haiti.

Services will begin with a community choir made up of singers in the surrounding area that love to sing the old foot patting Stamps-Baxter songs and hymns such as Love Lifted Me and There Is Power In The Blood. All ages are encouraged to join in.

There will also be special music nightly by one of the father, son “tag team”, as they rotate nights singing and preaching.  Others will also participate in Praise, Worship, and special music each night.

Come just as you are in casual dress, (no ties will be allowed)!
