Frances N. Stout

Frances N. Stout, age 86 of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home.

She was a native of Forsyth County, NC and the daughter of the late Avery Ernest and Maggie Lee Matheson Hall. Frances was a homemaker. She and her husband, Noel had taught wood carving at Tri- County Community College. Frances was a member of the Murphy Church of God. She was a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Noel Stout; her brother, Clay Hall and one sister, Ruth Volluz.

She is survived by three sisters, Mary Swain of Manchester, TN, Louise Canup and Willa Mae Long and her husband, Dale all of Hayesville, NC and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Murphy Church of God. Rev. Patrick Garrett officiated. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Cody Killian, Levi Killian, Barrett Callihan, Logan Callihan, David Hinton and George Dockery.

The family received friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Murphy Church of God.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Frances N. Stout to the Murphy Church of God, 1335 US 64 West, Murphy, NC 28906.
