Stephen Bryan Patterson

Stephen Bryan Patterson, age 42 of Andrews, NC passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Mission Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

On June 9, 2010, Stephen hit a homerun to Heaven. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and we look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County; he was the son of Ann Holloway of Andrews, NC and the late Blaine Patterson. Stephen was an electrician and an avid softball player. He was a member of Red Marble Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Laken Patterson of Andrews, NC; one brother, Allen Patterson and his wife, Sue of New Mexico; one sister, Debbie White and her husband, Ray of Andrews, NC; one niece, Blayne Ambler and two nephews, Jason Patterson and Billy Patterson.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Red Marble Baptist Church in Andrews, NC. Pastor Steve Coleman and Rev. Scott Roper officiated. Music was provided by Sonny and Margaret Rieghard. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Juice Clark, Jeff Mashburn, Jeff Ellis, Michael Trammell, Darrell Stevens, Brian Fowler, Chris Walker and Ben Koszczepki. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Smoky Mountain Fantasy Football League.

The family received friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Red Marble Baptist Church in Andrews, NC.
