Anna Mitchell graduates from Centre College


Anna Mitchell of Brasstown graduated from Centre College during the 187th commencement ceremony held at the College’s Norton Center for the Arts on Sunday, May 23. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art . She was a featured artist in senior exhibit Omnium Gatherum. She is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Wayne Meisel, president of The Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Foundation, addressed the audience. Centre’s Class of 2010 was the largest graduating class in the College’s history, and included a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, a Udall Scholar, and three Fulbright winners.

Mitchell is the daughter of Brian Mitchell and Nancy Troxler of Brasstown and is a graduate of Murphy High School.
