The Clay County Soil & Water Conservation District

The Clay County Soil & Water Conservation District held their Poster and Essay Contest and we provided cash awards to the students whose poster and/or essay placed.   All the students worked hard and did an excellent job however, with limited funds we awarded the top three posters and the top two essays.

Our winners were: 3rd grade 1st – Peyton White, 2nd -Claire Hendrix, 3rd -Jaderin Graper

4th grade 1st place Kacey Henrikson (only participant)

5th grade 1st place – Lauren Thrower, 2nd -Dimitry Ward, 3rd place – Trevor Fairlie

6th grade 1st place -Hunter Reaux, 2nd place – Kathryn Henrikson, 2ndrd place – Madi Amico (tie for 2nd), 3rd place Gracie Daniel

Essay 6th grade only –  1st place Kathryn Henrikson and

runner up Adam Urvaniuk.  (Adam was not present for the picture)
