All systems GO for a womanless beauty pageant

Dawn Wright and Mayor Barbara Mathis discuss the upcoming Womanless Beauty Pageant at the Towns County School Auditorium at 6PM on February 27th.
The tiara is waiting, the contestants are getting nervous, and the pageant judges are eager to crown the new Miss Enotah Family Drug Court North at 6 PM on February 27th at the Towns County School Auditorium.
Brave men egged on by colleagues, wives, girlfriends, and the desire to help a good cause will learn the power of make-up, the frustrations of a bad-hair day, the hazards of heels, and to appreciate what it means to be a woman for at least a little while.
Two of the judges, Barbara Mathis, Mayor of Hiawassee, and Andrea Gibby, Mayor of Young Harris, are looking forward to the task. Gibby has done some judging before, but never a womanless pageant. When asked if she had any tips for the contestants about what she’ll be looking for, she said she would be looking for how they present themselves.
She’ll be watching their poise, their walks, and their outfits. She has no preference for hair length or color, but is looking for overall dramatic effect.
Mayor Mathis will have very high standards having seen the Womanless Pageant for Relay for Life. However, she has never judged a pageant. She will be looking for best dressed, the most original looking female, and the sharpest answers to the questions.
Both mayors expect to have a lot of fun and said they are happy to help a good cause. All profits will go to the family drug court which research shows is very successful in helping families overcome problems and stay together. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. Children with family members do not need a ticket. Along with Miss Enotah Family Drug Court, a Peoples’ Choice award will be given. If you want to guarantee your choice for Miss Peoples’ Choice will win the prize, bring your extra change or whatever you can. Contestants will be asking you to help them win the title. Again, every penny (literally) will go to a good cause.
