Juanita Clark, 66, of Andrews died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Gaston County, NC, but had lived in Cherokee County for the past 44 years. Juanita had worked for Owenby Manufacturing. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Tabernacle.

She was the daughter of Coleman Walker of Gastonia, NC and the late Bertha Matthews Walker.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband of 44 years, Rev. Hubert Clark; two sons, Jerry Clark of the home and Jeff Clark and wife, Jane of Andrews; three brothers, Johnny Ray Walker and wife, Joyce of Bessemer City, NC, and Ronald Walker and wife, Sara and Herman Walker and wife, Kathy all of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Justin and Tiffany Clark both of Andrews; two step-grandchildren, Brenda and Lacey McCall of Franklin, NC; and a special niece, Lesley Sellers of Bessemer City.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Friday, Feb. 5 in the Faith Baptist Tabernacle with the Revs. Donald Watkins, Ronnie Crisp, and James Lockaby officiating. Interment was in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom, Tony, and James Painter, Clarence and Jamie Pack, and Gary Cagle.

The family received friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle.
