BARBARA S. MARLER

Barbara S. Marler, 75, of Marble died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 in a Chattanooga, TN hospital. She was a native of Pickens County, AL, but had moved to Cherokee County in 1994. She had worked and retired from the Alabama State Department of Transportation. Barbara was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed arts and crafts as a hobby after retiring.

She was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Margaret Graham Shelton. She was also preceded in death by a son, Henry H. Marler III.

Surviving are her husband, H. Hilton Marler Jr.; and a son, Kerry P. Marler and wife, Lisa of Suches, GA.
