Dale H. Bryant

Dale H. Bryant, age 62, of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, December 4, 2009 at his residence.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC; son of Delma Faye Cunningham Bryant of Murphy, NC and the late Hoyt Marion Bryant. He was a US Army veteran. Dale was a musician. He enjoyed making music and had played for several local bands. Dale took very good care of his mother. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Bryant.
He is survived by in addition to his mother; his girlfriend, Reathel Green of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister in law, Anita Horne of Mocksville, NC; nephews, Greg Bryant and Chad Bryant of Murphy, NC and nieces, Angie Bryant and Heather Bryant of Murphy, NC.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Pastor Gene Hawkins and Brother Jeff Hawkins will officiate. Music will be provided by Roy Neal. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Murphy, NC. Pallbearers will be Lewis Anderson, Mark Allison, Charles Bryant, J.W. Bryant, Jeff Hawkins, Greg Bryant and Chad Bryant. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Ledford.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hopewell Cemetery Fund, 215 Hopewell Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
