Margaret Louise Smith Grant

Margaret Louise Smith Grant, age 87, of Brasstown, NC passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at her residence.

She was a native of Cherry Creek, NY and had lived in West Palm Beach, Florida before moving to Brasstown, NC in 2007. Margaret was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and a US Navy Veteran.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson Grant, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucinda B. Martinez and her husband, Joe of Thibadeauz, LA and Laurel G. Shepherd and her husband, John of Brasstown, NC; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
