Sue Falcone coming to Murphy

Humorist Sue Falcone of Greensboro, NC, is coming to Murphy October 8, 2009, as the featured speaker for the TRI-COUNTY WOMEN’S CONNECTION special evening gathering.  Recently identified as “a person making a difference in the lives of others” in her home town, Sue Falcone has gone from a very difficult life to an exciting life facing her own fears.  She has become an author and inspirational speaker who wants to tell others about fear-free living.

Falcone is a graduate of Dale Carnegie and Zig Ziglar courses.  She is certified in the areas of time management, human relations, financial counseling, plus sales and marketing.  Her talk on October 8th is titled, “Duct Tape is NOT the Best Way to Keep Your Life Together.”

October 8’s special evening gathering for TCWC women, spouses, and friends begins at 6:30 p. m. in the fellowship hall of Murphy’s First Baptist church–the same venue for the regular first-Thursday women’s luncheon meetings.  First time participants are always welcomed with southern hospitality, of course.  The meal will be catered by Shoebooties Cafe.  The evening event, open to all who pre-register by October 1st, will also feature a mini-concert by Jeff Owens.  There will be a bake sale for the early arrivals.

Reservations for the evening–$15 each–and complimentary chld care are being taken by Linda Stanton at 176 Vandora Suits Rd., Murphy.  Flyers with reservation forms are available from TCWC regulars and are posted in many places around Murphy and Andrews.  “Home-made” reservation forms should include a phone number.  Questions may be addressed to Penny Miller at 835-3227.
